Initial seed funds have allowed us to support a first group of pioneers who will operate the following income-generating projects:
Health Clinic – Clinique de Santé
With this initiative, the goal is to provide basic health care to those in need. Lead Pioneers and other members provide treatment of common diseases and injuries, essential medications, as well as health education and moral support in low income communities.
Beauty Corner (Hair Style and Sewing) – Salons de Beauté (Coiffure et Couture)
This initiative aims to make the consumers feel good in their skin. Pioneers and other members provide haircut, make up, and sewing services in a one-stop-shop type of setting, making it easy to access these services.
Cyber Café
In this corner, pioneers offer low-cost services to the tech savvy community members. They provide word processing and printing of non-complex documents as well as outlets for recharging electronic devices.
Spiritual Nutrition / Alimentation Spirituelle
The most constant and absolutely free service of Padou Foundation is to offer spiritual support, prayer, linkage to Christian resources, and spiritual coaching to visitors, consumers and members alike every minute of the day, every day. Just ask a member and they will direct you.
