Padou Foundation at a Glance
Padou Clémence (1930-2018) was a matriarch who lived in Bangui, Central African Republic. She devoted her life to caring for people. She welcomed everybody with a demonstration of love and honor that were idiosyncratic. She would go out of her way to assure that everyone who passes by her house has at least one need met such as food, water, shelter, personal care, prayer or just a listening ear.
Padou Foundation is dedicated to perpetrate the love-in-action that has become the trademark of Grandma Padou Clémence, which she intended to be the emulation of God’s love. We strive to make people feel useful, valued and loved. Thanks to the generous contributions of our partners,members and benefactors we promote resilience and self-sufficiency in underserved communities by providing community assistance directly to the end-users. Foundationally, we provide spiritual support including counseling, prayer, support and coaching every day and every minute.
